Field Service Technician – Mechanical (Western Australia)
There is now an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician – Mechanical to join the Western Australia team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Field Service Technician is responsible for:
- Ensuring that RME assets at Customer sites operate in a fast, reliable and safe manner;
- Acting as the key point of contact for service requests;
- The commissioning, maintenance and training of Customer mine site personnel on the RME suite of technologies;
- Recommending spare parts, provision of condition reports and consultation with the Customer on asset maintenance; and
- Participation in training and motivation opportunities.
Please note: This is a Customer-facing position and will require domestic travel on projects. It is not a rostered position and as such, candidates should be flexible and able to travel.

This is a Customer facing role and you must have well-developed written and spoken communication and presentation skills in order to represent RME at various levels at mine sites and other organisations and an ability to generate rapport quickly, establish good working relationships and to understand, interpret and respond clearly to others.
You must also have a current open driver's license.

Assembly Technician (Toowoomba, QLD)
There is now an exciting opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join the Assembly team on a permanent full-time basis.
You will play a key role in the efficient assembly of RME-manufactured equipment to a high standard of workmanship and safety.
You must have a genuine interest in assembling high-quality, high-performance, machines and equipment. These may be any combination of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems, including powerful robotic devices.

REQUIRED
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
- Ability to approach situations with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

Document Control Officer / Administrator (Toowoomba, QLD)
There is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator / Document Control Officer to join the Contracts and Projects team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Formatting and document collation of technical reports, manuals, proposals and minutes;
- Ensuring that document templates are used correctly in documentation generated by the team;
- Ensuring current versions of documents are issued to required project parties;
- Ensuring document submissions are in accordance and compliant with the project document formats and requirements;
- Recording issues and tracking the location of control documents and drawings;
- Implementing workflows and collating, issuing, and receiving documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review, and approval of design documentation; and
- Planning and recording document workflows.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience with Administration functions; this may include document production, records management, management of control registers and project schedules;
- Previous exposure to Document Control duties/tasks (preferred but not essential);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat (checking and formatting of documents);
- Proven ability to quickly pick up systems and processes;

Apprentice Maintenance Fitter (Toowoomba, QLD)
There is now an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join the Assembly Team on a Permanent full-time, basis.
The Apprentice Maintenance Fitter assists the Assembly team in the efficient building of RME-manufactured equipment to a high standard of quality, workmanship and safety. Upon the completion of an apprenticeship, the successful applicant will become a fully-qualified Assembly Technician and play an integral role in the production process.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in helping to assemble high-quality, high-performance, special machines. RME’s ‘special machines’ may be any combination of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems, including powerful robotic devices.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
REQUIRED
- Year 12 Certificate;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- High-level organisation and time management skills;
- Ability to approach situations with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude;
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team-based environment; and
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Contracts Specialist (Toowoomba, QLD)
There is now an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to join the Contracts and Projects Management team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for assisting to reduce RME’s exposure to external risk. This is achieved through reviewing, formulating, negotiating and summarising contracts for the sale of RME’s capital equipment and Site Services and Optimisation (SS&O) parts and services.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
REQUIRED
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of legal principles, particularly contract law;
- Experience understanding, interpreting and negotiating contracts;
- Meticulous attention to detail,
- Ability to anticipate problems before they arise;
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present professional reports and proposals;
- Well-developed negotiation and persuasion skills; and
- Intermediate to advance IT proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office software.
DESIRABLE
- Tertiary study in Law, Business, Engineering or related discipline;

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Storesperson to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Storesperson has a key responsibility for the receipt and issue of goods with the correct completion of the appropriate documentation and timely transactions to meet agreed planning dates.
What are we looking for?
REQUIRED
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks;

Electrician (Toowoomba, QLD)
There is now an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Electrician will assist with the design, installation, testing and commissioning of the specialised mining equipment that RME invents, designs and manufactures.
In this role you will make use of your fault-finding skills, along with your experience in communications cabling installation and commissioning. The ability to work well with others in a team environment is integral to this role.
This position has additional responsibility for leading and monitoring Apprentice Electricians while they are carrying out day-to-day tasks.
What are we looking for?
- At least 1 year’s post-trade experience;
- Attention to detail with respect to paperwork processing;
- Ability to approach situations with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude;
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills;
- Good level of written and spoken communication;
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment; and
