Contracts Analyst (Toowoomba, QLD)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts and Projects Management team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for assisting the Contracts and Projects Manager to reduce RME’s exposure to external risk. This is achieved through reviewing, formulating, negotiating and summarising contracts for the sale of RME’s capital equipment and Site Services and Optimisation (SS&O) parts and services, ready for approval and signature.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Required

  • Experience in understanding, interpreting and negotiating contracts for RME Mill Relining Systems and Services with potential and existing Customers;
  • Exemplifies Customer advocacy and exhibits a Customer centric approach in carrying out the requirements of the role;
  • Experience in general office procedures, e.g. database applications, email, handling correspondence, version control, internet and word processing;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate problems before they arise and take appropriate action to ensure solutions are found;
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of legal principles, particularly contract law;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to determine work priorities, meet deadlines and take follow-up action until finalisation;

The Storesperson has a key responsibility for the receipt and issue of goods with the correct completion of the appropriate documentation and timely transactions to meet agreed planning dates.

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Technician – Mechanical to join the Queensland Regional Service Centre on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Customer Support Technician (CST) is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that RME assets at Customer sites operate in a fast, reliable and safe manner;
  • Acting as the key point of contact for service requests;
  • The commissioning, maintenance and training of Customer mine site personnel on the RME suite of technologies;
  • The recommendation of spare parts, provision of condition reports and consultation with the Customer on asset maintenance; and
  • Participation in training and motivation opportunities. 

Please note: This is a Customer-facing position and will require both domestic and international travel on projects, often for extended periods of time. It is not a rostered position and as such, candidates should be flexible and able to travel for work at short notice.

Operating under a performance-based pay structure, employees may choose annual days of work between 125-150 days. Post the completion of selected days, the options of either time off or additional days for additional reward is offered.

Graduate Applications Design Engineer (Toowoomba, QLD)

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Applications Design Engineer to join the Applications Engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Graduate Applications Design Engineer is responsible for supporting capital equipment sales within RME through the selection, layout and design of high-quality mining equipment. 

Given the dynamic nature of RME’s capital equipment sales process, the Graduate Applications Design Engineer will learn to exercise flexibility and careful judgement in their approach to individual design tasks with the support of the Applications Design Engineering Team Leader. 

Guidance and support from the Applications Design Engineering Team Leader or other experienced team members will be given for challenging or unusual aspects of any given design.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality engineering;
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development;
