Feed Chute Base
RME’s Unpowered Feed Chute Bases (UFCBs) interface between embedded floor rails, feed chutes and RME’s Powered Feed Chute Transporters (classic or multi wheeled). They can provide a reliable interface between several mills of different sizes and the one Feed Chute Transporter for a cost effective solution to feed chute management.
RME's Feed Chute Bases are designed to operate for many years and ensure reliable feed chute extraction, first time, every time.
Features
Unlike standard Feed Chute Bases supplied by default with most mills, the RME's Feed Chute Base have the following key features:
- Taconite seals which provide a grease purged space outside the bearing
- High impact filament wound plain bearings
- Bearings and shafts sized for continuous operation under typical feed chute impact loads
These key features combined with RME's high quality fabrication deliver a Feed Chute Base that will still be doing the job long after the others have failed.
